6 7 THE AZURE (J227) Jumped only fairly and then raced tight between TAKE ACTION and HARMONY GALAXY. After the event, R Moore stated that after racing tight at the start his mount was obliged to settle further back in the field than what had been intended. Sent for sampling post-race.

9 6 TAKE ACTION (J098) After the event, B Avdulla reported that when racing to the outside of THE AZURE in the early stages he was obliged to restrain his mount to race behind that runner when THE AZURE remained racing one-off the rail. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
10 9 STORM RUNNER (J452) Jumped awkwardly and then shortly afterwards bumped with PRINCE ALEX which shifted out slightly. From a wide barrier was then shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
11 3 PRINCE ALEX (G307) Bumped at the start. When being shifted across behind runners in the early stages was steadied near the 1500 Metres to avoid TAKE ACTION.
12 5 THE WAY WE WIN (J493) Bumped at the start.
