Racing Incident Report

1 2 GUSTOSISIMO (J303) On jumping was bumped by HAPPY FAT CAT which shifted in slightly. Near the 150 Metres became slightly unbalanced when it attempted to jump a plastic bag which was blown on the track during the running of the race. Sent for sampling post-race.
2 5 SPICY GOLD (H440) Dislodged its rider A Badel without incident on entering the track. Jockey Badel quickly remounted before proceeding to the Start. Was examined by the Veterinary Officer on arrival at the Start and passed suitable to race. Sent for sampling post-race.
3 8 SOLID CAR (K058) Jumped only fairly.
4 4 GOLDEN EMPIRE (E490) No report.
5 7 HAPPY FAT CAT (G166) No report.
6 9 YOUNG ARROW (J401) Making the first turn near the 1000 Metres got its head up when being steadied to allow GUSTOSISIMO to cross.
7 3 A AMERIC TE SPECSO (H037) Slow to begin. Near the 1100 Metres was hampered when taken wider by TURF PHOENIX.
8 12 ENDUED (K033) Approaching the 1100 Metres was checked when crowded between YOUNG ARROW which shifted out slightly and GIANT LEAP which, after being taken in by GUSTOSISIMO (B Avdulla), then shifted in and away from that runner. B Avdulla was advised that in similar circumstances he would be expected to make a greater effort to straighten his mounts sooner than what he did on this occasion. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
9 1 ETERNAL FORTUNE (K010) On jumping shifted out and made contact with AWESOME TREASURE when that runner shifted in slightly. As a result, ETERNAL FORTUNE became unbalanced and lost ground. After the event, Apprentice E C W Wong stated that his mount was obliged to race wide and without cover for the majority of the event and as a consequence was left without a finishing effort in the Home Straight. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
10 6 AWESOME TREASURE (E435) No report.
11 10 GIANT LEAP (J143) Shortly after the start bumped with GUSTOSISIMO which shifted in. After the 1100 Metres was steadied when racing in restricted room to the inside of GUSTOSISIMO which lay in when being corrected by its rider B Avdulla. Making the first turn near the 1000 Metres got its head up and over-raced. GIANT LEAP continued to race keenly throughout the middle stages.
12 11 TURF PHOENIX (J294) Jumped only fairly. In the early and middle stages raced keenly. Near the 1100 Metres was steadied and shifted out to avoid ENDUED. Making the first turn lay out and was steadied when racing behind GIANT LEAP.
